Warren Harvey Lewallen was born on February 14, 1921, in Scott County, Tennessee. He was the son of Edward Lewallen and Fannie Bell Ellis Lewallen. He was married to Agnes Bernice Chambers. He served in the 9th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division, as a Private First Class during World War II.

PFC Lewallen was Killed in Action on September 2, 1944, during the Battle of Brest, France. He is now buried in the Black Creek Cross Roads Cemetery, Robbins, Scott County, Tennessee, USA.
