Enos Bryant Gardner was born on February 25, 1922, in Monroe County, Tennessee. He was the son of Edgar Gardner and Rebecca Spurling Gardner. He served in the 9th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division, as a Private during World War II.
Pvt Gardner was Killed in Action on September 3, 1944, during the Battle of Brest, France. He is now buried in the Bullet Creek Cemetery, Monroe County, Tennessee, USA.
