Albert R. Farina was born on October 22, 1910, in Pittsburgh, Allegheny, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Anthony Farina and Virginia A. Dillio. He enlisted in the service on October 17, 1942. He served in the 28th Infantry Regiment, 8th Infantry Division, as a Second Lieutenant during World War II.

2Lt Farina was Killed in Action on August 27, 1944, during the Battle of Brest, France. He is now buried in the Calvary Cemetery, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, USA.
