Donald A. Krogman was born on February 26, 1925, in Topeka, Shawnee County, Kansas. He was the son of Anthony Charles Krogman and Helena "Lena" Becker Krogman. He served in the 585th Bomb Squadron, 394th Bomb Group, as a Staff Sergeant and Tail Gunner of B-26 #42-96032 during World War II.
SSgt Krogman was Killed in Action on April 8, 1944, after departing on a combat mission when the aircraft crashed en route near Great Dunmow, England, during the war. He is now buried in the Saint Mary's Cemetery, Dundee, Nobles County, Minnesota, USA.
