Albert Marvin Cox was born on November 26, 1922, in Crowell, Foard County, Texas. He was the son of Willie Marvin Cox and Edna Pearl Dunn Cox. He served in the 585th Bomb Squadron, 394th Bomb Group, as a Second Lieutenant and Co-Pilot of B-26 #42-96032 during World War II.

2Lt Cox was Killed in Action on April 8, 1944, after departing on a combat mission when the aircraft crashed en route near Great Dunmow, England, during the war. He is now buried in the Crowell Cemetery, Crowell, Foard County, Texas, USA.
