Jesse (surname unknown) served in the US Navy as a Quartermaster and was assigned to the USS Constitution. Jesse died on April 14, 1818, while stationed in or passing through Menorca during the period when the U.S. maintained a naval presence in the Mediterranean, as part of its early-to-mid 19th century Mediterranean Squadron.
