Richard B. Wilson was born on January 15, 1921. He was the son of Richard Bryan Wilson and Erma Adella Settles Wilson. He served in the 318th Infantry Regiment, 80th Infantry Division, as a Private during World War II.

Pvt Wilson was Killed in Action on August 18, 1944, during the liberation of Argentan, France. He is now buried in the Prospect Cemetery, Brackenridge, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, USA.
