Cecil C. Faulkner was born in 1926, in Arkansas. He was the son of Angelo Marie Faulkner and Grace C. Beall Faulkner Brown. He served in the 60th Coast Artillery Regiment as a Private during World War II.
Pvt Faulkner was Killed in Action on April 16, 1942, with multiple penetrating shrapnel wounds to the chest and right arm during an air raid. They had been building and gathering materials for wooden bunks at Battery Way when it suffered a direct hit. He is now buried in the Manila American Cemetery and Memorial, Manila, Capital District, National Capital Region, Philippines.
