Frank Obeidzinski was born on April 23, 1922, in Cloquet, Carlton County, Minnesota. He was the son of Joseph Obeidzinski and Helen S. Bahen Obeidzinski.
Frank served in Company M, 116th Infantry Regiment, 29th Infantry Division, as a Private First Class during World War II. He was Killed in Action on August 4, 1944, during the liberation of Landelles-et-Coupigny, France. PFC Obeidzinski is now buried in the Brittany American Cemetery and Memorial, Saint-James, Departement de la Manche, Basse-Normandie, France.
