Timothy “Tim” Daly was born on July 25, 1945, in Limerick, County Limerick, Ireland. He was the husband of Donna Daly. He was drafted into the Army and entered the service via Selective Service. He served during the Vietnam War and began his tour on September 15, 1966.

Timothy served in Battery A, 5th Battalion, 16th Field Artillery Regiment, 4th Infantry Division, as a Specialist 4th Class during the Vietnam War. SP4 Daly was Killed in Action on February 3, 1967, by hostile automatic weapons fire. He was carrying a shotgun and jumped off a truck. The butt of his gun hit the ground, and it fired. SP4 Daly is now buried in Holy Cross Cemetery and Mausoleum, North Arlington, Bergen County, New Jersey, USA.
