John Coyle Jr. was born on January 3, 1946, in Birmingham, Metropolitan Borough of Birmingham, West Midlands, England. He was the son of John Coyle Sr. and Ann Coyle. He served in the Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 3rd Battalion, 12th Infantry Regiment, 4th Infantry Division, as a Specialist 4th Class during the Vietnam War. SP4 Coyle was Killed in Action on March 29, 1967, and is now buried in Saint Raymond's New Cemetery and Mausoleum, Bronx, Bronx County, New York, USA.
