Kenneth George Kenyon was born on September 19, 1917, in Big Stone County, Minnesota. He was the son of Darwin Gerald Kenyon. He was married to Rose Clara Heilman Kenyon.
Kenneth served in Company C, 1st Ranger Battalion, as a Sergeant during World War II. He was transferred to HQ Company in September 1942. He was one of 50 US Army Rangers who participated with British Commando on the Dieppe raid in 1942. Kenneth finished his service as a Technician 4th Grade. T4 Kenyon died on December 17, 1985, and is now buried in Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota, USA.
