Firman Estel Wyatt was born on September 3, 1920, in Keller, Ferry County, Washington. He was the son of Daily Silas Wyatt and Roxy Valma Wyatt.

He served in the 52nd Bomber Squadron, 29th Bombardment Group, Very Heavy, as a First Lieutenant and a pilot of B-29-30-BA Superfortress #42-63564 during World War II. He was Killed in Action on March 10, 1945, when the aircraft made a navigational error and crashed into Mt. Fubo.
