Harold Raybould was born on March 21, 1922, in Birmingham, Metropolitan Borough of Birmingham, West Midlands, England. He was the son of Harold Oscar Raybould and Margaret Raybould.
He served in the 873rd Bomber Squadron, 498th Bomber Group, Very Heavy, as a Second Lieutenant and flight engineer of B-29 Superfortress #44-69747 during World War II. He was Killed in Action on March 10, 1945, when the aircraft made a navigational error and crashed into Mt. Fubo.
