Wesley Oliver Chandler was born on November 25, 1917. He was married to Norma Lee Sammons Chandler.
He served in the 52nd Bomber Squadron, 29th Bombardment Group, Very Heavy, as a First Lieutenant and a flight engineer of B-29-30-BA Superfortress #42-63564 during World War II. He was Killed in Action on March 10, 1945, when the aircraft made a navigational error and crashed into Mt. Fubo.
