When Julius W. Morris was born on July 5, 1923, his father, Julius, was 21 and his mother, Elmyra, was 18. He had one son and one daughter with Catharine W Larry. He entered the military service in Missouri. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Private First Class in the 26th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. He died on April 5, 1945 and is now buried in Netherlands American Cemetery and Memorial, Margraten, Eijsden-Margraten Municipality, Limburg, Netherlands.
