Harold Frederick Stentiford of Roxbury, Massachusetts, was born on May 14, 1919, in Saint John, Saint John County, New Brunswick, Canada. He served in the #58 Squadron of the Royal Canadian Air Force as a Sergeant during World War II. He was declared Missing in Action on November 8, 1941, when his Whitley aircraft #Z 6972 crashed in the sea eighty miles off Souter Point, England, due to enemy action. His body was never found.
