Joseph Linwood Nibblet was the son of Walter Samuel Nibblet (deceased) and Helen Evelin (Nibblet) Hill (remarried), of Salisbury, Maryland. He served in the #23 Operational Training Unit of the Royal Canadian Air Force as a Flight Sergeant during World War II. He was Killed in Action on September 16, 1942, when his Wellington III Z1730, which took off at 20h22 from RAF Pershore, crashed at Baerl near Repelen Lohmansheide near Krefeld where the crew were buried in the Hauptfriedhf.
