James Gerald Joseph Fedigan was born on August 15, 1914, in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois. He was the son of Joseph Fedigan and Katherine French Fedigan.
James served in the #22 Operation Training Unit of the Royal Canadian Air Force as a Flight Sergeant during World War II. He was killed on June 29, 1942, when the pilot of the Wellington aircraft #R 1036, which he was in, overshot the landing and crashed at Wellesbourne, England.
