Victor Charles Cully, of Cobalt, Connecticut, was born on March 20, 1915, in Southampton, England. He was the son of Edward Cully and Frances (nee Uprichard) Cully.
Victor served in the 49 Squadron (Cave Canern) of the Royal Canadian Air Force as a Pilot Officer (Air Bomber) during World War II. He was Killed in Action on June 22, 1944, when his Lancaster aircraft #ND 683 failed to return from a night trip to Wesseling, Germany. It was reported the aircraft crashed in the sea off the coast of Holland (The Netherlands).
