Eugene Deverle Brown was born on November 22, 1917, in Merkel, Taylor County, Texas. He was the son of Andy Eugene Brown and Mary Lee Hicks Brown.
Eugene served in the 21 (R.A.F.) Squadron as a Flight Lieutenant during World War II. At the time of his death, he was piloting the Mosquito FB.VI HR345 aircraft. He died on February 10, 1945, in Germany.
