Clarence Samuel Brest was born on June 2, 1923, in Winnipeg, Greater Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. He was the son of Samuel and Olga Brest; husband of Marjorie Brest, of Honolulu, Hawaii.
Clarence served in the #434 Bluenose Squadron (In Excelsis Vincimus) of the Royal Canadian Air Force during World War II. He was Killed in Action on January 20, 1944, when his Halifax aircraft # LL 135 went missing from a night trip to Berlin, Germany.
