Charles Jackson Bramkamp was born on May 25, 1920, in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio. He was the son of Margaret Ida Bramkamp.
Charles served in Company B, 2nd Ranger Battalion, as a Technician 5th Grade during World War II. He was Killed in Action on June 6, 1944, at the age of 24, in Vierville-sur-Mer, during the American assault on Omaha beach in France. T5 Bramkamp is now buried in the Vine Street Hill Cemetery, Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio, USA.
