Thomas E. Therrien was born in 1921 in Plymouth County, Massachusetts. He served in the 366th Bomber Squadron, 305th Bomb Group, Heavy, as a Staff Sergeant and Right Waist Gunner on the B-17 #42-3195 during World War II. He was Killed in Action on October 14, 1943, when his airplane was shot down by a German fighter plane Ofw. Heckmann 1./JG1 and crashed at Waldenrath, Germany. He is now buried in the Ardennes American Cemetery, Neuprč, Belgium.
