Clarence Leo Adams was born on December 6, 1919, in Norfolk, Norfolk City, Virginia. He was the son of Gilbert Dudley “Gill” Adams and Grace Mae Honsinger. He served in the 212th Armored Field Artillery Battalion, 6th Armored Division, as a Private First Class during World War II. He was one of the 75 soldiers killed during the liberation of Plabennec and Plouvien, France. PFC Adams is now buried in the Mount Olive Cemetery, Beryl, Faulkner County, Arkansas, USA.
