Paul Denitti was born on June 21, 1920, in Monessen, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Matthew Denitti and Antoinette Abatantuono Denitti. He was the husband of Rose Marie Erdely Merashoff.
Paul served in the 15th Tank Battalion, 6th Armored Division, as a Technician 4th Grade during World War II. He was one of the 75 soldiers killed during the liberation of Plabennec and Plouvien, France. He is now buried in the Brittany American Cemetery, Montjoie Saint Martin, France.
