Jacob Klemm was born on July 1, 1910, in Russia. He was the son of Christian Klemm and Amelia Felzing Dittenber. He was the husband of Mary Klemm Lich Niederquell.
Jacob served in the 44th Armored Infantry Battalion, 6th Armored Division, as a Private during World War II. He was one of the 75 soldiers killed during the liberation of Plabennec and Plouvien, France. He is now buried in the Oakwood Cemetery, Saginaw, Saginaw County, Michigan, USA.
