Ronald Richard Fillmore was born on October 20, 1946. He served as a Specialist 4th Class in the 57th Medical Detachment, 68th Medical Group, 44th Medical Brigade, United States Army Vietnam. He was killed in an air crash aboard Helicopter UH-1D #65-10043 when it flew into a mountain during a night medevac mission. Crew members included WO1 Edward L. Bush (KIA), 1LT Jack R. Lichte Jr. (KIA), PFC Clifford R. Herrin (KIA), and SP4 Ronald R. Fillmore (KIA). There were no survivors.
