John William Sidney Kelly was born on May 19, 1945, in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. John L. Kelly and the husband of Linda M. Kelly.
Cpl. Kelly started his tour of Vietnam on February 25, 1969. He was killed in action by a small arms fire on February 15, 1970, while serving as a Light Weapons Infantryman with Co. N of the 75th Infantry Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade.
