Edward J. Yosick was born on October 12, 1918. He entered military service in Ohio and served in the 10th Infantry Regiment, 5th Infantry Division, as a Private during World War II. He was Killed in Action on January 25, 1945, during the liberation of Putscheid, Luxembourg. Pvt Yosick is now buried in the Luxembourg American Cemetery, Luxembourg. He also has a cenotaph located in East Avenue Cemetery, New Philadelphia, Tuscarawas County, Ohio.
