Jarold Wilson Johnson was born on November 16, 1919, in Nebo, Illinois. He was the son of Orla Claude Johnson and Roxie Elizabeth Jennings Johnson.
Jarold served in the 10th Infantry Regiment, 5th Infantry Division, as a Private First Class during World War II. He was Killed in Action on February 24, 1945, during the liberation of Putscheid, Luxembourg. PFC Johnson is now buried in the Luxembourg American Cemetery, Luxembourg.
