Enatio Boccagni was born on July 10 ,1912, in Tyrol, Austria. He was the son of Bartolo and Josephine Boccagni. He graduated from Athol High School in Athol, Massachusetts, in 1931.

Enatio entered military service at Fort Davens, MA, in 1935. He served in the 10th Infantry Regiment, 5th Infantry Division, as a Private First Class during World War II. He went overseas in December 1944, where he was Killed in Action on January 24, 1945, during the liberation of Putscheid, Luxembourg. PFC Boccagni is now buried in the Luxembourg American Cemetery, Luxembourg.
