Born in 1920 in Ohio, he joined the Royal Canadian Air Force and served with the 103rd Bombing Squadron. He was killed on a bombing run over Stettin, Germany on August 30, 1944. Theodore served in the #103 Squadron (Noli Me Tangere) of the Royal Canadian Air Force during World War II. He was Killed in Action on August 30, 1944, when his Lancaster aircraft # PB 365 went missing during night operations against Stettin, Germany.
His brother, Sergeant USMC Ignatius Joseph Gorak, was killed on Guadalcanal in November 1943 while serving with the 2nd US Marine Raider Battalion. He was awarded the Silver Star for actions.
