Thurston R. Chamberlain was born in 1893 in California. He enlisted in the Signal Corps, aviation section, and after the usual training course, he was sent to France. He was killed in an airplane accident in France on May 15, 1918. He was one of the 171 American servicemen who trained at the Third Aviation Instruction Center in France and died between 1917-1919. Sgt Chamberlain is now buried in the Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Arlington County, Virginia, USA.
