John N. Denesha was born on January 21, 1922, in Saint Lawrence Park, New York. He served in the 364th Fighter Squadron, 357th Fighter Group, as a Second Lieutenant and Pilot on the P-51 Mustang #42-106652.
On June 7, 1944, 2Lt Denesha took off from Station 373 airfield in Leiston on a mission to Brest, France. At 2:15 PM, his plane was shot down, crashing into Château-Bily in Ploufragan, France. 2Lt Denesha was killed in the crash. He is now buried in the Brittany American Cemetery, Montjoie Saint Martin, France.
