Myron J. Wessel was born in 1912. He was the son of Joseph Franklin Wessel and Mary Magdalena Krielkamp Wessel.
Myron served in Company K, 313th Infantry Regiment, 79th Infantry Division, as a Staff Sergeant during World War II. He was Killed in Action on August 27, 1944, during the liberation of Vexin, France, and is now buried in the Saint Andrew Cemetery, Richmond, Wayne County, Indiana, USA.
