Earnest M. Cox was born on February 6, 1910. He served in the 313th Infantry Regiment, 79th Infantry Division, as a Private during World War II. He was Killed in Action on August 27, 1944, at the age of 34, during the liberation of Vexin, France. Pvt Cox is now buried in the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas, USA.
