Milton Warshal was born on January 27, 1907, in Russia. He was the son of Jack Warshal and Frieda Monosson Warshal.

Milton served in the 823rd Tank Battalion as a Private during World War II. He was Killed in Action on August 28, 1944, at the age of 37, during the liberation of Vexin, France. Pvt Warshal is now buried in the Seattle Historic Sephardic Cemetery, Seattle, King County, Washington, USA. The death date inscribed on his headstone is August 9, 1944. His name is commemorated on the Liberation of Vexin monument in Fontenay-Saint-P�re, but his surname is spelled 'Warshal.'
