Milton served in the 823rd Tank Battalion as a Private during World War II. He was Killed in Action on August 28, 1944, at the age of 37, during the liberation of Vexin, France. Pvt Warshal is now buried in the Seattle Historic Sephardic Cemetery, Seattle, King County, Washington, USA. The death date inscribed on his headstone is August 9, 1944.
