Karl Arthur “Bud” Krone, Jr. was born on March 5, 1916, in Snow Shoe, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Karl Arthur Krone and Florence W Watson Bosworth.
Bud served in the 117th Infantry Regiment, 30th Infantry Division, as a Private during World War II. He was Killed in Action on August 28, 1944, at the age of 28, during the liberation of Vexin, France. Pvt Krone is now buried in the Epinal American Cemetery, Dinozé, France.
