Ralph Clinton Testement was born on May 3, 1922, in Monterey, Tennessee. He was the son of James Barton and Parmelia Cathrine (Henry) Testement.

Ralph served in Company B, 119th Infantry Regiment, 30th Infantry Division, as a Private during World War II. He was Killed in Action on August 27, 1944, at the age of 22, during the liberation of Vexin, France. Pvt Testement is now buried in the Sand Springs Memorial Gardens, Monterey, Putnam County, Tennessee, USA.
