Paul Alvin Schuckers was born in December 1915 in Jefferson County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Erdice DeHaven Schuckers.
Paul resided in Alaska and enlisted on May 26, 1942. He served in the 315th Infantry Regiment, 79th Infantry Division as a Staff Sergeant during World War II. He died from his wounds received in combat on August 22, 1944, during the liberation of Vexin in France. SSgt Schuckers is now buried in the Emerickville Lutheran Cemetery, Emerickville, Jefferson County, Pennsylvania, USA.
