Grant F. Moyer was born on December 4, 1920. He was the son of Harry W Moyer and Sallie Ann Angstadt Moyer.
Grant served in the 360th Fighter Squadron, 356th Fighter Group, as a Second Lieutenant and Fighter Pilot during World War II. He was killed on May 23, 1944, while training with the Group Training School, was on a dive-bombing pass on the target off Bradwell Bay. He came in too low, struck the water, and crashed. His body was recovered later.
2Lt Moyer is now buried in the Good Shepherd Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania, USA.
