Thomas E. Creevy was born on August 25, 1922, in Chicago, Illinois. He was the son of Joseph Bollman Creevy and Ima Cassell Creevy.

Thomas was a bomber pilot on the 857 Bomb Squadron. He was transferred and, at the time of his death, was assigned to the 361st Fighter Squadron, 356th Fighter Group. He was killed on June 9, 1945, in England, on a training mission while performing acrobatics. His P51 #44-13512 got out of control and crashed near Podington Airfield.

1Lt Creevy is now buried in the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Alsip, Cook County, Illinois, USA.
