Everette Lee Brock was born on February 7, 1923, in Winthrop, Arkansas. He was the son of Revedy Azberry Brock and Mary Ida Hatter Brock.
Everette enlisted in the RCAF and later transferred to the USAAF. He was assigned to the 360th Fighter Squadron, 356th Fighter Group, as a Flight Officer and Fighter Pilot.
On December 31, 1943, he took off from airfield Station 369 in Martlesham Heath, England, on a bomber escort in Reims, France, aboard P-47 #42-22542. At approximately 4,000 feet, his plane collided with P-47 #42-8662 piloted by William R. Hayden around 2:00 p.m. Both pilots were killed as a result of the collision.
F/O Brock is now buried in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Texarkana, Miller County, Arkansas, USA.
