Gene Porter Hamilton was born on April 26, 1924. He was the son of Ova Mary Davis Hamilton.

Gene served in the 753rd Bomber Squadron, 458th Bomber Group, Heavy, as a Sergeant and Gunner on the B-24 #44-40281 "A Dog's Life” during World War II. He was Killed in Action during a training mission on February 13, 1945, in Old Catton, England.

Sgt Hamilton is now buried in the Lula Cemetery, Lula, Pontotoc County, Oklahoma, USA.
