William Louis “Bill” Weber was born on August 7, 1923, in Great Bend, Kansas. He was the son of William John Weber and Lola Edna Gibbs Weber.

William served in the 753rd Bomber Squadron, 458th Bomber Group, Heavy, as a Sergeant and Radio Operator on the B-24 #44-40281 "A Dog's Life” during World War II. He was Killed in Action during a training mission on February 13, 1945, in Old Catton, England.

Sergeant Weber is now buried in the Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson, Reno County, Kansas, USA.
