Allen Kent Jewett was born in 1922 in Canon City, Colorado. He was the son of Louis Kent Jewett and Martha Elizabeth Richardson Jewett.
Allen served in the 753rd Bomber Squadron, 458th Bomber Group, Heavy, as a Second Lieutenant and Co-Pilot on the B-24 #44-40281 "A Dog's Life” during World War II. He was Killed in Action during a training mission on February 13, 1945, in Old Catton, England.
2Lt Jewett is now buried in the Cambridge American Cemetery, Cambridge, United Kingdom.
