Jerome Pfullmann was born on September 1, 1923, in Comal County, Texas. He was the son of Arthur Adolph Pfullmann and Tonie Soechting Pfullmann.

Jerome served in the 406th Bomber Squadron, 801st Bomber Group, Heavy, as a Second Lieutenant and Co-Pilot on the B-24 #42-52650 during World War II. He was Killed in Action on January 3, 1945, in the takeoff crash of his airplane. It crashed in the village on Aston Clinton in England, killing all aboard. 2Lt Pfullmann is now buried in the Cambridge American Cemetery, Cambridge, United Kingdom.
