Ray L. Hendrix was born on October 15, 1922. He served in the 406th Bomber Squadron, 801st Bomber Group, Heavy, as a Second Lieutenant and Pilot on the B-24 #42-52650 during World War II. He was Killed in Action on January 3, 1945, in the takeoff crash of his airplane. It crashed in the village on Aston Clinton in England, killing all aboard. 2Lt Hendrix is now buried in the Kingston Cemetery, Kingston, Marshall County, Oklahoma, USA.
