Martin B. Miller was born on December 19, 1918. He served in the 38th Fighter Squadron, 55th Fighter Group, as a Second Lieutenant and Fighter pilot. On January 31, 1944, aboard P-38J 42-67221, was on a fighter sweep in the Venlo, Arnhem, area of Holland and was shot down and killed by enemy fighters. He is now buried in the Golden Gate National Cemetery, San Bruno, San Mateo County, California, USA.
